Annual Friends of Scouting Campaigns are critical to funding local councils. These campaigns provide a pathway to educate families and the community-at-large about the services their local council provides and give them an opportunity to contribute at a level based on their ability and interest to give.
Working with the Family Friends of Scouting Committee and the development team, we launched the "Liberty Society" in 2016 to encourage monthly recurring giving. This gives donors, especially those who give year after year, a convenient way to invest in the operations of the council and allows unit presentations to focus on cultivating new donors.
